OUR THERAPISTS
Melanie Psomas
My passion as a massage
therapist is to help people in their pursuit to feel
their best. I specialize in Deep Tissue, Trigger Point,
Sports Massage, CranioSacral and Myo-fascial therapies.
I have a strong intuitive sense that is helpful in
moving energy and addressing muscular issues. I also
have confidence in my abilities to assist people in
their healing process. Breath work is vital to a
healthy, active and balanced body, and it is a key
component of my practice. Massage and breath work are
very important in the release of toxins and in bringing
awareness to the body. With a skilled therapeutic touch
and a focused intention, I put others at ease while
addressing their needs. I have an honest nature. I am a
good communicator, and I consider myself a hard worker.
My pursuit into massage therapy is continually
reaffirmed by the impact it has on my clients, and I am
eager to serve others in their journey towards optimal
health.
Upon my
quest for the right career choice, I reflected on my own
experiences in receiving massages, acupuncture, and
CranioSacral and naturopathic care. These therapies have
been an important part of my self-care for over 15
years, and they have therefore lead me passionately into
this field. My personal experiences have enabled me to
continue to strive, and educate myself to be the best
massage therapist possible. My clients know my
commitment and it resonates. The impact that bodywork
has had on my clients and my family is tremendous. The
knowledge and awareness other health care professionals
have provided for me in my lifetime is profound, and I
am hopeful to give back as much as I have received
through the years.
I was
born and raised in Southern California, and I am the
youngest of nine children. My personal interests include
cooking from a variety of magazines and cookbooks, all
forms of music and self expression, as well as health,
exercise and nutrition. I am also a lover of the
outdoors and enjoy exploring the many splendors that
Oregon has to offer.
I am
excited to have a career in something that I feel so
well suited for and passionate about. I am equally
excited to have joined the Dr. Dot team and look forward
to working with you!
Laurie Sullivan, LMT

Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue,
Reflexology, Swedish and Sports Massage.
“I have
always been connected with and drawn to a lifestyle of
alternative healing, thinking, and living. I believe in
the power of touch and in the art of using my hands in a
way that is intended to be both comforting, as well as
therapeutic. Every person is unique, and because of
that, every session is unique. In a safe and comfortable
environment, my goal is to listen to the specific needs
of each client. To trust that my intuition will create a
session promoting health, balance, awareness, pain
relief, and clarity on both a mental and physical
level.”
