Techniques now available, allow
chiropractors to address a patient's concerns more effectively than
ever before. We
utilize several specialized techniques to deliver safe and effective
chiropractic adjustments; Activator Method, Sacro-Occiptal
Technique
(S. O. T.), Muscle Energy Technique (M. E. T.) and Toggle are
light force techniques. They are rarely accompanied by a
cavitation (link) or "popping" sound and are particularly well suited
for geriatric patients, those in severe pain and those not comfortable
with cavitations, as in the Diversified or "classical" method
of adjusting.
Diversified and Drop Table are much more classical approaches. This eclectic collection of treatment allows the doctor and patient to customize the appropriate treatment plan for each individual's needs or preferences. Physiotherapeutics such as ultrasound, hot or cold packs, muscle stimulation and diathermy are used to assist in achieving doctor/patient treatment goals.
